Ebay's Affiliate Program for Website Publishers

If you are a website publisher selling items on Ebay is not the only way to profit.  Ebay has an affiliate program, run through Commission Junction, which pays website publishers for sending traffic to Ebay.

The publisher ads some code to their pages with an affiliate link.  If a visitor uses that link to go to Ebay and buys something, Ebay will pay a percentage (40% +) of the final value fee to the publisher.  If the visitor was not previously registered at Ebay and signs up via the affiliate link they will pay $12.00 and  up (depending on volume of signups).

Ebay provides a variety of tools (data feeds or RSS) to facilitate this process and third party software developers are beginning to take advantage of this.  We are in the process of building a series of "long tail" websites which will show Ebay auctions and encourage specialty collectors to shop there.

EAPG  is a commonly used abbreviation for Early American Pressed or Pattern Glass.  There are hundred(s)? of different kinds of glasses and many collectors specialize in one or more of them.  The "long tail" concept suggests building websites which focus on each type of glass so our content is tightly focused on these specific collectors.  We have registered EAPG.biz to serve as a "hub" that links to these sites (spokes) and the link above will take you there..
