Gerold Porzellan, Puzzle Mug, Stein, Nude Lithopane

This puzzle mug is 7 " tall and in perfect condition, with no chips or cracks.  The mark on the bottom says Gerold Porzellan, Tettau, Bavaria, Made in West Germany.  Made in West German tells you it was made before the wall came down. 

None of the gold trim shows any sign of wear.  Click on an image to see a larger picture.  The watermark on the images was added later and is not on the item.

 

These mugs are made so they are impossible to drink from without spilling unless you know the trick.  The trick is to think Straw.  If you use your finger to block the correct opening on the handle of the stein, you will be able to pull your drink into your mouth as if you were using your straw.  I'm not sure how many people want to drink their beer through a straw, but thats another issue. 

Your reward for emptying the stein is a view of the nude in the bottom of the stein.
